The Kassam project began in 2024.
The trio — made up of drummer Stefano Moresi from Rome, guitarist and vocalist Alessandro Trovato, born in Sicily and raised in Cagliari, and bassist Edoardo "Crohn" Cannas — sits at the intersection of desert rock, psychedelia and progressive, with a strong inclination towards jamming. Their compositions are born out of free-flowing sessions, where freedom of expression meets tight musicianship. Kassam's sound is woven from the chiaroscuros of Colour Haze, the geometries of Rush, the spatial drifts of King Gizzard and the wide instrumental horizons of Yawning Man and Elder.

Kassam is preparing to release the body of work that emerged from long, exploratory studio sessions. The trio has condensed this research into A-Planet, their debut LP, due out soon. Faithful to the analog, immersive nature of the project, the vinyl release will offer a listening experience focused on the dynamics and continuity of the listening journey.
